Quality Assurance
Quality assurance (QA) is an essential part of all
project development cycle activity at EPRO. Our team implements a standardized
QA procedure which covers the complete software development life cycle:

EPRO's QA Procedures
EPRO has a well-established process
framework that complies with CMM/CMMI. The scope of this framework covers
project management, software engineering (development), quality assurance
management and configuration management. The advantages of this frameworks
are:
- Assure every member in the project team follows the
same working framework on every tasks
- Every product and deliverables meets client’s expectation
- Increase project visibility since progress is closely
monitored and tracked
- Instant rescue plan can be executed in case of project
deviation
- Comprehensive documentation in place for ease of
maintenance and skill transfer
Standard QA procedures in EPRO include:
- Document inspection procedure:
This procedure ensures adherence to documented applicable software product
requirements and compliance with established standards and guidelines.
Examples of documents subject to inspections include: Product Requirements,
Software Design, User Documentation, and Maintenance Manuals etc.
- Code inspection procedure: This
procedure provides the plan for investigating program code to detect
errors and non-compliance with standards and guidelines
- Unit Testing: The
objectives of unit testing are to prove that each software unit does
what it is intended to do.
- Integration Testing: The
objectives of integration testing are to prove that the software units
work together properly.
Review meeting and reports are taken place in a
regular basis to ensure the quality of the software and performance of
the team meet the client’s expectation.
Quality Assurance System (QAS)
EPRO's self-developed QAS tracks problems and bugs
in the project, and then produce analysis to PM and management. It handles
collated defect data to be extrapolated into projected failure rates and
reliability predictions.
